Insulation & Air Sealing Before & After Photos

After receiving a free home energy audit from Halco, this Memphis, NY customer opted for spray foam insulation to improve the energy costs and comfort of the home. A two-part foam was used (one part resin, one part reaction compound) and our technicians sprayed the cantilever of this residence. The spray foam insulation expands into every nook and cranny, sealing all leaks and creating a comfortable home for the customer to enjoy! 

This customer worked with Halco to convert his historical home in Fayetteville, NY into an energy efficient home. While the focus of this job was a complex geothermal system, Halco and the customer himself did a tremendous amount of work prior to installation. 

We fully believe in the concept of “Reduce Before You Produce,” so the home was tightened as an initial step.  We vacuumed out all the loose fiberglass and spray foamed the roof decks and gables, bringing the attic into the thermal boundary.
