Dear Mr. Smith, I wanted to write and tell you what a great job Steve Hudson did on a repair call a few wees back. I was traveling and received a call that the pipes were frozen in my vacation rental property. What made the situation even worse was that guests were supposed to check in the next day. I called Halco and was told that someone would go look at the cottage and get back to me. Steve called within a few hours and said the problem was most likely a blockage since the ground was so cold that the pipes could freeze with water in them. He told me not to worry and that he would go back in the morning with the tools he needed and fix it. I told him I was out of town and would not get back before the guests arrived. I also told him I would be traveling home that day and would not be able to receive calls while I was flying. He was very reassuring and said that I shouldn’t worry. The next morning he called me before my flight departed to tell me he was at the cottage and it looked like it would be easily fixed. Imagine how happy I was when I landed, turned on my phone and had a nice message from Steve saying everything was fixed. He also let me know he wiped the floor so it was nice and clean when my guests checked in. He went above and beyond to provide great customer service, and fixed my problem. And the fact that he cared enough to clean up so well meant a lot to me. I have recommended Halco to friends and neighbors before, but thanks to Steve’s outstanding service, I will do so more! Dear Hal, My name is Makan ****** and I have been a customer of Halco since last summer. During this time, your company has installed for us a water heater, a furnace (together with a new supply boot and air filter), a new coil case for our AC system, basement spray-foam insulation, multiple energy assessments, and a complete basement floor system. And this is an incomplete list because I want to keep the email brief! In every case, the service provided by Halco was of the highest caliber. But beyond that, every member of the Halco team that we have had the pleasure of working with has been truly respectful and considerate. Tria from Painted Post, NY and her family were spending a lot of money to heat their home during the winter. During the summer, the back rooms in their house were extremely hot and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, there was also mold growing in the crawl space that posed some health concerns to the family. After researching, Tria found Halco and decided to give us a call because we were the only company in the area able to address and offer solutions for all the problems she was experiencing in her home. I am super excited about the crawlspace. Joe suggested I email Hal Smith too. I hadn’t sat down to do it yet, so he’s getting copied on this. We can’t believe Joe and crew did it in only three days. I haven’t gone down there yet…just peeked through the access window, but I bought a worklight string like Joe had to light up the place, so I’m ready. Now I can run a network cable down there that I’ve been holding off on doing. You can’t imagine how this answers a wish I’ve had for thirty years to make the space desirable to enter…clean, bright, dry, and odor-free. I noticed after the first day of work that the house didn’t smell musty. The new ductwork has made a noticeable improvement in the airflow to the family room, even before a new furnace. Of course I still eagerly await the new equipment next week. I’d love to be in the newsletter and you and anyone from Halco are welcome to a tour. The original furnace in Honey and Steven G.’s home in Port Byron, NY was running non-stop during the winter. It would often overheat the house way above the set temperature. As a result, not only they had an uncomfortable home but their energy bills were also extremely high. The couple then decided to call Halco to replace their outdated oil furnace with a brand new geothermal heating system. In this video the couple talks about the results. Their home is much more comfortable and the energy bill is much lower each month. The air in their home is also much cleaner. According to the couple, there is less dust and since the new geothermal system was installed the chronic night time headaches Steven used to have vanished completely. ‘We both couldn’t be any happier’, says Steven. ‘It is worth every penny and… just incredible!’

Mr. Hal Smith, I met you and Elijah Whiting on 7/20/15 at Tony Del Plato’s place in Interlaken. I, as part of Solar Seneca, interviewed solar contractors whom we might recommend. From there, Halco was recommended, and later I ordered a system from Halco for myself. Your staff, Kevin Pilcher, Bill Coon, both Josh’s, are very good at what they do. But, that installation crew: Jake, Ken, Jeff. They are your stars. First class craftsmen & personable to boot. I’m particularly praising Jake; he kept me informed at all times. Also, he is an artist. My meters and panels are laid out in geometric perfection. Should have had everything installed in my living room so I could show it off.
