This time-lapse video shows the installation of a ground-mounted solar panel system. The process starts with the installation of helical piers that are driven into the ground, like a screw, in a matter of hours. These piers are used to support the structure that will hold the panels. The panels are then connected together and then connected to an inverter which turns DC power to AC and runs to the meter at the house.
