Type of Work Done: Energy Audit

What made you choose our company?
I don't know who chose you. You came to me from the state energy audit. We were to get over $9,000 work done because I'm a disabled senior and my house needs work to keep energy bills down. My house mates are also disabled and we did what we could to prepare as best we could. NO one told me there was a state cut off date, only that you had many work dates set out and we would be pushed back toward fall. Work crews came and told us what we needed to do. Everyone of them said differently but when we asked a small crew to help us they said to move the bins that needed to be moved it would cost me $500 I don't have. I'm hurt, angry and mortified at the loss from your company's decision to not help us. That last week you came we had paid a couple teenagers money we didn't have and they didn't finish the job. I've never in my life asked for help like this, but I lost my husband of 44 years 8 years ago next month and I don't have any children of my own. I have heart valves that needed to be replaced, a partially collapsed lung and stage 3b kidney disease as well as being a polio survivor from the 50's. I was on cloud nine when the state came through for me because no one has ever done anything for me before. I had hope in humanity again, but now it's gone. I'm probably going to have to sell my sister's house because she now lives in the cemetery next door. The electric and heat bills are too high for me to keep up with. I don't know what to do anymore because I won't be accepted again now that I am not eligible for HEAP. But, before you think I'm rich, I'm not. I'm supporting a family of 5 plus children my roommates babysit for free because they're their grandchildren. Ok. That's all I can say to you. I'm sorry broken and going to bed.
