  My furnace still makes a humming/vibrating sound. It is much better than the various noises it was making before the service person came and worked. And the humming/vibrating noise is a steady noise as the furnace is working/eating. Perhaps it's just part of being a older furnace. And I am so thankful that Jason, the service man, checked things ou and found that HALCO covered the inducer, which was about a year old. Jason listened to my concerns. He worked hard to solve them, to check them out. The noise now is not bothersome, is not loud, and I hit I've already gotten used to it.
