Overall satisfaction with our company ★★★★★First service on 12/11/2017 at 3:30 am for which I was charged $64.50 was totally unsatisfactory. Service person said pilot light was out (which I questioned since furnace is at the back of basement with no drafts). He ignored my question, even after explaining that I had recently had a chimney liner installed. He was here about 10 minutes and then left without checking to see if it was actually working. Needless to say, it was not working, which necessitated a second emergency call. I honestly feel that I should not have been charged to this service call in view of the foregoing. The second service (8:28 am) on same date was wonderful. He did corrective work from chimney liner installation and stayed to ensure that the corrective service he did was working. I reiterate that I do not feel I should have been charged for the first service call and since the corrective service by the second service rep was due to faulty work by the installers of the chimney liner there should be no charge at all for either of these calls. I would hope that Halco would stand behind their workmanship!
