I would like to personally thank Halco and the technicians Paul C. and Jason for the excellent work done on reinstalling my Navien tankless water heater on 8/27/2009. Previously installed by another company that was obviously not qualified and did not take pride in their work, the heater was barely hanging on its ‘picture frame’-like support made out of a couple of 2×4′ hanging on screws from the ceiling. It was loud enough to be heard around the house, did not work well and was risking the house with flood or ever worse if it were to fall. Halco, on the other hand did a superb job of ‘mopping it up’. They took the unit off and reinstalled as if they did the job from the beginning. A brand new prefab metal stand was installed to hold the unit securely. All new water and electrical lines were run in accordance with all the codes. They even added a whole house shutoff valve to help with the one broken by previous installers. Hangers were added to existing pipes to support them securely. And finally, an elaborate drainage system was made to make to catch condensate. Even the pressure relieve valve was not simply piped to the floor, but piped to the drain gap. The basement was left in pristine clean shape, much cleaner than when they started the job. The heater now operates so quietly, I can no longer hear it outside of the basement! I feel Halco went well beyond what they quoted me initially and delivered a professionally installed, well tuned system that will last for a long time. The skills and attention to details of your technician speak volumes of your company. Thanks again and looking forward to future business with you.

Several weeks ago my wife and I had a leakage problem with our residential water system on Cayuga Lake, which required emergency service. Tom Daggert responded for Halco. This was the first time we had ever called Halco. Tom was there very quickly and spent considerable time repairing the system piping. In the course of the repair job, it was determined that the piping should be completely redone as it had grown piecemeal and had become rather complex and unreliable. Tom ultimately performed the rebuild on a Saturday, thereby minimizing our water system ‘downtime’ and producing a much cleaner and simpler system design. In the course of his service to us, Tom Daggert did the best plumbing job we’ve had in years. His service was prompt, and he stayed on it until completion. He greatly improved the system’s piping layout. We have more confidence in Tom’s work than we’ve had with any plumber. We thought you should know.
