About the Role
Halco is expanding its Electrical division and now has immediate openings for full-time, year-round residential electricians who are familiar with installs, repairs, and updates to electrical systems, light fixtures, wiring, power outlets, and circuit boards in residential properties.
Important soft skills for electricians include communication, problem-solving, and customer service. These professionals should be able to work individually and as part of a team. Electricians need strong math skills to make measurements and calculate electrical current values.
Additional Qualifications
- Possess your own hand and cordless tools
- Be organized, efficient, and punctual
- Possess a valid NY State driver’s license
- Have the physical ability to lift 50 lbs.+ consistently
- Understand how to provide customer service on a level that will both maintain our existing customer base and attract new clientele
- Have strong leadership characteristics, along with problem-solving and decision-making skill sets
- Possess the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and positive attitude
- Be willing to learn, as Halco will provide training to build your skills
