Halco Celebrates 30 Years of Service
This year signifies Halco’s 30th anniversary, having first opened the doors in 1984 by owner Hal Smith. Originally named Halco Plumbing & Heating DBA, we’ve served our area as a residential plumbing and heating service and installation contractor. Since then, the company has grown until being incorporated as Halcyon, Inc. in 1993.
As time went by, we found ourselves more involved with mechanical and commercial services, which led to the creation of Halco Mechanical. Now a significant portion of our business, Halco Mechanical offers design and CAD work for mechanical jobs.
Halco Electric began in 2004 to provide commercial electric services, and we then combined Halco Mechanical and Halco Electric into Halco MEPS. Halco MEPS offers complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sprinkler design-build services. We didn’t stop there!
2009 marked the inception of Halco Renewable Energy, our foray into the world of environmentally friendly energy services. This aspect of our business focuses on the designing and building of solar electric, solar thermal, and geothermal heating systems for both residential and commercial applications. We work with our clients to lower their energy costs, finding them the greatest return on their investment.
