About the Role
Halco currently has multiple openings for Plumbing Service Technicians to help meet our customers’ needs throughout the Upstate NY area. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in residential or commercial plumbing or another similar trade. The Plumbing Service Technician’s primary function is to successfully inspect, install, repair, and replace pipes, fittings, and fixtures. For the right candidate, Halco also offers a 5-year paid apprenticeship program.
Candidates will be expected to:
- Possess your own hand and cordless tools.
- Be organized, efficient, and punctual
- Provide customer service on a level that will both maintain our existing customer base and attract new clientele
- Possess a valid NY State driver’s license
- Prepare invoices and collect payment
- Maintain a clean appearance of both yourself and your company-issued vehicle
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage will be based on experience, individual skill set, and potential; up to $40/hr. Additional incentives and commissions are also available, based on performance.
