  The actual work done and the service person (Tom) were excellent. However, my overall satisfaction relates to my experience scheduling the call and the reason for the call. While I do not have proof, I believe my leak was due to improper installation from the previous HALCO service person (Zach H). Tom was too kind to put blame on the previous installation though I was not charged for the second visit as it was under warranty. Meanwhile I will have to pay a lot of money to have my ceiling fixed. When I called to schedule I specifically and adamantly asked that Zach not be assigned. I was told no problem. My apt was rescheduled (on Halco's end) and Zach showed up at my house. I was put in the extremely awkward position of telling him I did not want him. In both my conversations with scheduling, no one asked me why I didn't want him which I find disturbing. There were several reasons, one of which was I suspected his previous work caused my current problem.

  I was extremely upset when I found out Zach was arriving in 5 minutes and when I called the office, the person I spoke to did not seem to understand the extent of my concern. She was more concerned that she couldn't reschedule my apt that day. I did not care about that - I only cared that I was going to have tell someone I had asked not to have them come to my house. I had no idea how he would react and I was upset that I was put in that situation. If I had had more time to think, I would have told him I had an emergency and had to canceI but I had no time and was taken by surprise. I asked to speak to someone higher up to explain what happened and was refused. I was told, maybe the vice president would respond to me when he had time. While nothing bad happened with Zach on his previous visit, the HALCO representative did not know why I was so adamant about not having him in my house and I am shocked that she did not inquire why.
