The issue is that two other guys couldn't read the 'Replace Batteries' warning on the thermostat that included 'Use Lithium Batteries ONLY'. The other two used Alkaline batteries which almost immediately resulted in the same failure. After two days, it appears Jason fixed the problem that we've had for months..
