  Later that night when we were in bed we heard a loud 'crash' from somewhere in the house. We looked around and when I checked the basement I found the cover to the Aprilaire humidifier lying on the ground after coming loose from the furnace. It fell about 5 feet to the ground. I replaced it and made sure it was secure. I would have expected the tech to have made sure it was closed/attached properly.
