We met this customer at a local home show, where they expressed interest in having a solar PV system installed to supplement their existing electrical energy. To accommodate their needs, we designed this 10-panel, 3.3kW roof-mounted SunPower system that will provide up to almost 50% of their electricity, based on their current usage!
This 6.86 kW solar electric system was installed for a customer in Alfred, NY. The array consists of 28 SunPower solar modules installed as a roof-mounted array on the customer's home. As designed, this system should generate 4,742.5 kWh per year for and average of 13 kWh per day!
This Dansville, NY customer decided to go green to reduce both his energy costs and his environmental footprint. The home was fitted with a 7.194 kW solar electric system, installed as a roof-mounted array of 22 SunPower solar modules. This 4.14 kW solar electric system was installed in Avon, NY. The system was installed as a roof mounted array of 18 SunPower solar modules oriented South on the customer's barn. As designed, the system should generate 4,808 kWh per year, which is equivalent to 101% of the customer's current base load usage. The energy produced corresponds to a CO2 emissions savings of 6,250 lbs. per year!
This solar PV electrical Balance of System, or "BOS," is one portion of a solar install for a customer in Honeoye Falls, NY. The Balance of System is comprised of 1 SMA 5 kW inverter and 1 SMA 3 kW inverter, along with 2 disconnect switches and the electrical meter. These inverters provide grid-synchronous AC output and interfaces to the electric utility. Power production (kW) and energy production (kWh) can be monitored by the digital display on the inverter.
