We just contracted with your company for the installation of a residential photovoltaic system. We interviewed four installers and chose Halco because of the knowledge of Amanda. Her grasp of both the technical and administrative ends of the installation were head and shoulders above anyone else we interviewed. She knew wire gauges, mounting systems, inverters, the whole shebang. She knows tax credits, NYSERDA required guarantees and monitoring requirements, she even knew the answer to the question of whether the NYSERDA grant amount was counted as income or not. We've referred a few friends to your company based largely on our contact with Amanda. By the way, we also met Tim, your installer and I get the feeling we can trust him to do a proper install that will withstand the test of time. So when the time for bonuses is here, put Amanda at the head of the line.

To my HALCO friendsFinding the words to express my gratitude for the work you have done, toward making my life whole again, is an almost impossible task. When I called HALCO last fall for my annual furnace cleaning, little did I know we were about to embark on a new and frightening journey. I was in for the "the shock of my life" when the HALCO technician literally showed me that my furnace had gasped its last "hot air" and would have to be shut down for safety purposes. What was I to do? My furnace needed replacing and knew I couldn't afford to take this plunge. The 'tech' must have seen the panic on my face and the tears welling up in my eyes, because he calmly said, "Let me call my supervisor...maybe he can help us figure this out." That was beginning of a beautiful friendship between my HALCO family and myself and housemate.From that moment on, everyone at HALCO took more than a professional interest in making us feel that "our problem" was very important to them and that they were not going to stop until the job was done and everyone was satisfied. The HALCO family orchestrated a plan to not only get me a new furnace, proper insulation, hot water system and all of the 'bells and whistles' needed to ensure that I had a 'more efficient' heating and cooling system, but also assisted me in applying for the grants to help pay for this huge project.When I sat down to write this testimonial to my HALCO family, I went to their website to help me formulate what I wanted to day. Ryan Gould was here last evening, 11/7/12, to do the annual check-up on my boiler. Just wanted to let you know what a nice young man, Ryan is. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Halco seems to have some really great people working for them. I have to say, any dealings I have ever had with Halco, from the nice ladies that answer the phone to the techs that are on the road, has been a pleasure.
