Lori,I have had several emails between you and me and found you to be very pleasant so when you said Todd was coming to my home I felt comfortable as I do not like strangers in my home.Having said that,  I could not believe what a pleasure it was to have this man in my home.  I found him to be one of the most pleasant, patient, conscientious, efficient people I have ever let into my home.  He went to work immediately, left no stone unturned, asked questions which I answered and then he continued his work.Most people that I have coming into my home are of the younger generation and patience is not a virtue. Dear Hal, My name is Makan ****** and I have been a customer of Halco since last summer. During this time, your company has installed for us a water heater, a furnace (together with a new supply boot and air filter), a new coil case for our AC system, basement spray-foam insulation, multiple energy assessments, and a complete basement floor system. And this is an incomplete list because I want to keep the email brief! In every case, the service provided by Halco was of the highest caliber. But beyond that, every member of the Halco team that we have had the pleasure of working with has been truly respectful and considerate. The latest case was Larry Anstee, who did an outstanding job of finishing our basement. I would in particular like to express my deep gratitude for the help and support of Jamie Kluk. The story of how I came to know of Halco involves some serious health issues that my two children struggled with soon after we moved into our new house in late 2015. He was able to make necessary suggestions to improve the heat/cooling to provide a more comfortable surrounding. I highly recommend Ed!!

I wanted to thank you for the team effort of Chad, Jeremy, Shawn and Vince for their technical expertise in the annual inspection and addressing some concerns I had.  Also for Jeremy for the energy efficiency analysis, in particular the blower door results. I have since followed through on additional research on my unit and what would be a reasonable payback.  With your staff assistance and what I have personally completed, I feel my unit is reasonably energy efficient. If you have any questions of what I have done please have Jeremy provide an update.  I have kept him informed.  His "audit" motivated me to take action on some hunches I've had since we bought the place. Perhaps you were not aware but for four years in the late 1980's early 1990's part of my responsibilities were to the Director of Cornell Cooperative Extension in overseeing a contract between the Cornell Agricultural Engineering Department and the State Energy Office.  The program was called, Save Energy, Save Dollars.  It was about a 1/4 million dollar per month contract with 50+ energy technicians who audited farms, small businesses and not-for-profits throughout NYS, including New York City.  The Ag Engineering Department developed many auditing formulas and taught and monitored the technicians as they conducted the audits. Dave and Jim did a great job. I would use Halco again. I feel the difference, the basement is staying at a constant 68 degrees with no heat on. Ron and Steve did a great job on the energy audit too!
