This new Halco customer contacted us because the AC system at his Victor, NY rental unit was not working correctly, and he thought it may need to be charged. Upon arrival, our tech found the outdoor unit in need of a cleaning. He performed a tune-up on the system, added refrigerant, and changed the valve cores and caps. The AC was operational when complete.

This 6.213 kW solar electric system was installed for a customer in Fairport, NY. Wanting to offset dependency from the local utility company and reduce his carbon footprint, this customer has taken a major step towards energy independence with his new solar system. Installed as a roof-mounted array of 19 solar panels, the system is designed to generate 5,180.5 kWh per year!    

This drafty old farm house in Naples, NY had major moisture problems in the basement. The fiberglass on the basement ceiling had visible condensation on it.  The basement was musty, moldy, drafty, dark, and very damp.  We put down a vapor barrier on the basement and crawl space floors and sprayed 2" closed cell foam to the rim joist and walls.  We also installed a SaniDry Energy Star rated dehumidifier that will remove up to 109 pints of water per day! All of this resulted in a drier, more comfortable, and more energy efficient home. 

This Naples, NY customer previously had a pellet stove and wall space heaters, which resulted in uneven heating. Halco technicians installed a Duel Fuel Hybrid heating system with a 96% efficient propane furnace and an air source heat pump. In addition to the heating work, we also installed central air so this customer can stay comfortable in the home no matter what the season!
