Combination boiler/on-demand water units are becoming an increasingly popular alternative to traditional home heating systems because they take up less space and are much more energy efficient.  This was the case at this Newark, NY home where we removed their old hot water tank and boiler and installed this new 93% efficient Navien Combi boiler board.

This Newark, NY home was fitted with a 7.2 kW solar electric system that was installed as a roof-mounted array. As designed, the 22 solar panels should generate 7,339 kWh per year, where weather and seasonality are a factor in production. The energy produced by this system is equivalent to 69% of the customer's current baseload usage and from an environmental standpoint, this corresponds to a CO2 emissions savings of 9,541 lbs. per year! 

This Newark, NY customer has used Halco in the past for plumbing related issues. After having a no-cost energy assessment performed on her home, she decided to move forward with replacing her extremely old, inefficient furnace. Our home energy advisor qualified this customer for Assisted Home Performance, a NYS funded program, and we were able to install this new, high-efficiency furnace at half the cost to the customer! 

This Newark, NY customer contacted Halco when his well pump blew both fuses and quit working. Our plumbing tech installed a new, premium well pump and replaced the pressure switch and controls.  This customer can now rest easy knowing he has a quality pump performing at its best!

This Penn Yan, NY customer called us out to her home because she was having issues with her boiler constantly tripping the breaker in her old pushmatic 60 amp panel box. Our electrician arrived and immediately noticed several other issues that needed to be addressed; most notably the existing panel box was located directly behind the home's water softener and the service was grounded improperly. We addressed this by installing a new 200 amp service 3 ft. away from her old box to allow ample clearance from the water softener and corrected the grounding issue.  We also removed a secondary pole off of the customer's property that fed the electric line to the house and replaced it with this new pipe riser.
