Our technicians came out to these Ithaca, NY customers' home to perform routine maintenance on their heating and air conditioning systems. While they were there, the customers inquired about different options to upgrade their old, tank-style water heater to something more energy efficient. After reviewing several options, they opted to go with this new Navien NPE240 tankless water heater--which reduces a home's monthly energy usage by only heating water when needed or "on-demand". Compared to their old water heater, this wall-mounted, compact unit will not only take up a lot less space in their home--but will save them money on their utility bills!
Tankless systems are very energy efficient, as they only heat water when you need it; as opposed to conventional tank-style heaters that run continuously.
