Halco Case Studies: 7.2 kW Solar Energy System Installed for a Newark, NY Customer

Challenge

One of our Newark, NY customers was interested in having some solar panel installation!

Solution

This is a ground-mounted, grid-connected system that consists of thirty-two (32) SunPower 225W modules, one (1) SMA 7000US inverter, DP&W Top-of-Pole Racking, and an SMA webbox monitoring system. As designed and installed, this system produces on average at least 19.15 kWh per day and 6,990 kWh per year, meeting 96% of the Client's electric usage. This energy production corresponds to a CO2 (greenhouse gas) emissions savings of 8.6 kg CO2 per day and 3,146 kg per year.
