Entry Level HVAC Installer

Join the Halco team, and become one of the leaders delivering clean energy systems throughout the Finger Lakes!  As part of our mission to electrify NY, and reduce our carbon footprint, we are growing our Heat Pump Installation Team!  

 

Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and/or Electrical is a plus, but we are willing to train!  Team members with prior experience in general maintenance, construction, carpentry, and/or auto mechanics have found their skill sets well adaptable to the Heat Pump and Clean Energy Fields.  While geothermal and air source heat pumps are our primary focus, the installation of high efficiency traditional HVAC and water heaters is occasionally part of our repertoire. 

 

At Halco’s Training Center, we provide ongoing field-specific training, as well as EPA 608 Certification training and testing in-house.  Halco is a registered participant in the NYS Apprenticeship Program for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical as well.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Team members are required to have their own basic tools. (If you do not possess your own, we have a tool account program to assist with acquisition.)

• Possess a valid NY State driver’s license

• Have the physical ability to lift 50 lbs consistently

• Be on their feet all day, including up/down ladders where and as needed.

• Possess the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and positive attitude

• Be willing to learn, as Halco will provide training to build your skills.
