Basement Systems Installer

Halco currently has an opening for a Basement Waterproofing Installer to help meet our customers' needs throughout the Upstate NY area. We are seeking out candidates that have an intermediate background and/or working knowledge in general carpentry or construction and a basic, all-around innate mechanical aptitude for this position. This is a physically demanding job, where heavy lifting, using a jackhammer and maneuvering in and out of tight crawlspaces are semi-regular tasks. While experience in this specific field is preferred, it is not necessary. We would strongly consider someone who is hard-working, with a "team-first" attitude that we can train and develop into a skilled, long-term employee. Overall, Basement Waterproofing Installers are responsible for conducting residential improvements for our customers, such as:

-Foundation repair
-Basement/crawlspace waterproofing
-Perimeter drainage systems

Qualifications:

Candidates will be expected to:

-Possess your own hand tools
-Have experience running a jackhammer, roto drill and cut saw
-Be very agile with the ability to work in tight attics and crawl spaces
-Be organized, efficient and punctual
-Possess a valid NY State drivers license
-Have the physical ability to lift 50 lbs.+ consistently
-Understand how to provide customer service on a level that will both maintain our existing customer base and attract new clientele
-Have strong leadership characteristics, along with problem-solving and decision-making skillsets
-Possess the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
-Maintain a clean and professional appearance and positive attitude

Compensation:

$18 to $25
