My issue arose during the coldest days of this past winter. It's an old house with many 'quirks' from home repair, and old equipment. It took two days, but the work was superb, the staff and workers excellent. As a single woman who owns an older home, and is NOT good with heat, electric and plumbing, you are the best! You are reliable, honest, and trustworthy. Thanks!

Dave and his assistant had a tough job but were good-natured throughout. And they got our electricity restored before other companies could even come to give us an estimate.

We received a service call from this Ithaca, NY customer stating that they had lost power in their home. Within 2 hours of receiving their call, we had a technician on-site diagnosing the problem! In the process of resolving their issue, we replaced their outdated electrical service with this brand new 100 amp panel box!
Halco service technicians were called to this Ithaca, NY home because the customer had no electric. It was quickly apparent that there was no voltage coming into the line side of the meter meaning there was either a break in the line underground or on the riser on the pole. After verifying that the break was not on the pole, the next step was to start digging. Technicians found the break and established that the pipe had no bushings installed when it was originally put in. Bushings go on the ends of pipe to keep a smooth transition from pipe to wire and because there were no bushings, this caused the pipe to become burned and corroded over time. Our technicians cleaned the conduit out, re-pulled new wire, and installed UL listed underground splice kits. They then sand padded the ditch for protection of the splices and conduit bushings and the repair was complete!
This Trumansburg, NY customer contacted Halco to install an electrical sub panel in their newly built garage. Starting at the customer's main panel, our technicians ran the conduit around the side of the home, under the deck and to the garage and then installed a new 60 amp sub panel on the garage wall.
This Penn Yan, NY customer called us out to her home because she was having issues with her boiler constantly tripping the breaker in her old pushmatic 60 amp panel box. Our electrician arrived and immediately noticed several other issues that needed to be addressed; most notably the existing panel box was located directly behind the home's water softener and the service was grounded improperly. We addressed this by installing a new 200 amp service 3 ft. away from her old box to allow ample clearance from the water softener and corrected the grounding issue. We also removed a secondary pole off of the customer's property that fed the electric line to the house and replaced it with this new pipe riser.
This Willard, NY customer needed a line ran from her electrical panel to her new electric dryer, so she contacted Halco for assistance. Because the customer's existing panel was full, Halco technicians gave her the option of installing a new box or adding a sub panel. Installing a sub panel would require tandem breakers and because the customer had a significant amount of tandem breakers already, this was not the best option. The customer chose to have us upgrade her panel to a new, 30 space 100 amp panel and now she is fully functioning and up to code!
We performed an electric upgrade for this multi-family home in Cortland, NY. Each of the four (4) meters were relocated to the outside of the home, each panel was replaced with a new 100-amp panel, and a single 200-amp riser was installed. With the upgrades made, the electrical work in this home is now safe and up to code!
These Waterloo, NY customers needed help with their electrical panel in a major way! After contacting Halco, our technicians were able to upgrade the existing panel and ensure that everything was safe and up to code.
Halco technicians were called to this Seneca Falls, NY home to assist a customer with some electrical issues. Due to water damage as well as rust build up, the 200 amp panel was completely replaced. The customer can now live comfortably knowing that their electrical panel is safe and up to code!
This Lyons, NY customer contacted Halco because he lost 1 phase on his underground 200 amp service. Instead of trying to find the break, the customer decided to have the entire service replaced. Halco technicians installed a new meter can, service entrance, ground loop and 2" pvc pipe. We also replaced the customer's existing 30 space panel with a new 42 space 200 amp panel that is all up to code!
This Sodus, NY home is now up to code thanks to a newly-installed 200 amp electrical service with a piper riser!
